Baja Challenge |
| At the end of the Summer in 2008, we had the opportunity of building in a small town outside of Tijuana, Mexico. Together with volunteers from La Jolla, CA. and from the local Mexican neighborhood, we were able to construct and donate two homes for two families. The two families were currently living in a box that had four old wooden garage doors leaning against each other as walls with a tarp for a roof. The floor was dirt and would flood when it rained. The homes given were a simple 500 sq. ft. two bedroom home, but the families reaction was that of pure gratefulness. |
