Following a devastating earthquake in 1988, Armenian families were given metal shipping containers as “temporary shelters” by the Russians. And now, after nearly twenty years of living in these storage containers, Lazarian World Homes is partnering with Armenian Gospel Mission to build new homes for these families.
One young lady shares her story…”I have lived in a metal storage container for nineteen years and endured much suffering in the cold winters. ( temperatures can plunge to -30 degrees) After this long wait, I look forward with much joy to celebrating my 20th birthday in our new home. Everybody is very happy to have a warm home. Thank you Lazarian World Homes, for helping us.”
