In April of 2008, Lazarian World Homes began their ministry in Mexico. The first project was on the campus of the Nazarene Seminary in Tecate and consisted of eight buildings including the Mexico warehouse for LWH.
Student volunteers from Point Loma Nazarene University and Baylor University gave weeks of effort along with volunteers from churches on both sides of the border to complete the buildings.
The project included a home for professors, two dorms, one shower and bath, a four classroom building and two homes for students. Sidewalks and landscaping helped to complete the project and the student body is increasing as a result of the new campus.
